Page 86 - Laying Down the Law

In some instances, Christ gave instructions that were diametrically opposed to
the commandments found in the Law of Moses. The goal of Christ’s instruction is
perfect men who bear the image of His Father. This was not the goal of the Law. I ask
you then, “Is God going to write the Law of Moses on men’s hearts to make them
perfect?” Absolutely not. There must be a change of Law.

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.

In the next chapter we will look further at the distinctions between the old law,
and the new.
