Father, we have let unclean inhabitants dwell in our land for far too long. We desire
to take possession of our souls and to have the temple of our bodies thoroughly
cleansed. Your disappointment must be great that Your chosen people have failed to
dispossess the enemies in the land. We have fallen short of doing all that You have
commanded. I ask that You would release to us great grace that we might follow
wherever You lead, that we would stand and fight and see the enemy flee. May we
come fully into our inheritance. Lead us into battle, and settle us in a land of
righteousness, peace and joy, for Your word declares that this is our portion. You are
our portion, and surely our inheritance is beautiful.
