the first to do so. He sat on the colt, and it submitted to bear Him where He must go.
So too, did He ever rule over His soul. He never did anything of His own initiative. He
lived to do the will of the Father. In Christ, the Father’s desire was realized for an
obedient Son. All those who by faith are joined to Christ are also transformed into
obedient sons.
