A History of Deception

The image above is the cover of a popular book that reveals some of the serious omissions,
and glaring errors, found in twelve of the most popular history books used in the public
school systems of America today. It is not written from a Christian perspective, but it
reveals that there is a certain percentage of Americans who are waking up to the fact that
the historical accounts delivered to them as students were often incomplete, biased, or
               complete lies.

Arriving at an accurate historical worldview requires that the investigator of such matters
has a sound understanding of the nature of God, mankind, and the angels. It is certain
today that the majority of writers of public school history books fail in all three areas.
Tragically, most Christians also lack the requisite understanding of the spiritual and
material worlds needed in order to arrive at truth.

As I have engaged in this present series I have sought to keep in mind the character of fallen
man. The Bible describes the condition of unregenerate man in the following manner.

               Romans 3:9-18
Both Jews and Greeks... are all under sin. As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not
one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all
turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no,
               not one." "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit";
"The poison of asps is under their lips"; "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness."
"Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way
of peace they have not known." "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

If you accept the words above as divinely inspired, accurate, and a true statement of man’s
condition, then does it follow that the men who formed the government of America, being
